Bye Bye Dandruff and Dry Scalp. Yupee Wow, I have tried so many products. I always have a shower of dandruff on my dress. This product actually works. I had to try the product out for 4 weeks to see if the product works. The shampoo and conditioner have left my hair well hydrated and I got relief from dandruff and dry scalp slowly. The product looks pricy, But I don't have to apply too much shampoo and conditioner on my hair so this will last at least 2 months and actual relief from dandruff and dry scalp. Hence it is a good bang for the buck. Pros: - Shiny hair - No need to oil hair for a day or more. - No dandruff or dry scalp - No itchy feeling on scalp - No friz on hair after applying - Apply only a small quantity on the hair to see the result Cons: - Dont know yet. Smells good & lathers pretty well for clean hair, but expensive I really like both the shampoo and conditioner. I have had no skin irritation from these products (I have sensitive skin and sometimes my skin gets irritated, especially from certain natural products). They seem to have natural ingredients. The ingredients list literally has a little illustration next to each ingredient. And these smell good, but are not overpowering. My hair seems less frizzy when I use these, but I’m not sure if that’s due to these products or whether I’ve just been doing a better job applying my anti-frizz hair product afterward. On the negative side, these bottles are pretty small for the price. Also, there’s a story on the back about how the product came to be. The author/inventor claims to have attended UCLA, so it was pretty surprising to see a typo in the 1st sentence of the 2nd paragraph. It says, “It was until I discovered…” when clearly it should have said, “It wasn’t until I discovered…” You’d think someone would have edited this before sending to production! LOL. Not taking any stars away for that - I just found it amusing especially from a supposed UCLA student as it is not an easy school to get into. 😉 HJ

I was looking for a natural shampoo and I have tried a ton of products online. I wanted to make sure there were no sulfates or parabens or phthalates in any of my bathroom products. My expectations were low since I haven’t tried it before but it actually works. I used it for 7 days and my dandruff is completely gone and my hair feels soft and healthier. There is a natural herbal smell slightly but it's refreshing. Typically my dandruff would take several treatments to be washed out but this shampoo and conditioner actually did the job. Bought this based on recommendation and initially thought it was expensive. This was an impressive start. I have thick hair and dry scalp and I am pretty impressed with the effects of the shampoo and the conditioner so far. Though I have used some well known brands this seems to be more effective and would definitely recommend this product. Shiny, healthy hair it’s been a big help to the eczema on my scalp. I used to not be able to take warm/hot showers cause it would destroy my scalp skin. Now I can finally take some warmer showers. Works well, I rated this dandruff conditioner 4 out of 5 stars the main reason being because I thought I was supposed to get the shampoo with it and when it comes to dandruff I know the shampoo is the most important and effective step. I did still try the conditioner after using another brands dandruff shampoo and it has a nice consistency when lathering. It smells like mint and that subtly sticks around after your hair dries. My scalp feels clean and my ends were soft and easy to brush out. Really wish I got the shampoo so I could see how the whole system makes my hair feel. It's a great conditioner and it's packed with ingredients that are extremely beneficial to the health of your hair, I just feel like I'm not able to accurately review the system as a whole which is why I gave it a 4 instead of 5 stars. They two bottles wre in a bag in the box -- good thing they were in a bag, because one of them leaked and everything was wet. I often shampoo-rinse-repeat, but this time, using once was enough. I liked how it lathered and felt. I then used the conditioner and also liked how my hair felt from using it. I do not have dandruff or dry scalp, so I can't speak to that. I always shed hair and always thought it excessive even though I don't have think hair -- and then my son pointed out that because my hair is long, it probably looks like a lot. THat was an aha moment. So I don't suffer from excessive hair loss either. I did not notice any scent, but think my sense of smell is not what it used to be. Leaves Hair & Scalp Feeling Better A little went a long way washing my hair & putting the conditioner on. I do have thin & also fine hair so I use hairspray too to keep fly away hair in place. I dunno about the Anti Hairloss, but I do know for a Sulphate free shampoo this lathers really well, it's thick but not too thick it rinses out and makes your hair feel really clean the shampoo smells minty, and the conditioner makes your hair feel softer, and maybe less frizzy. Right off the bat when you open this conditioner, you will get a strong mint smell. But no worries! It will soften up once it's dried. This is a thicker conditioner and you'll need to work it in well but it's not tedious. Once I get it all in while focusing on my scalp, I like to let it sit for a couple of minutes while I do the rest of my shower. It rinses easily and doesn't tangle hair. Once I dry it with my dryer, the scent is very subtle. It does leave your hair super soft and shiny. I've noticed that my scalp isn't itchy anywhere near what it was before I started using this. Nakshatra Herbals' Conditioner contains lots of natural nurturing ingredients such as aloe vera, rosemary, sweet almond oil, coconut oil, argan oil, cedarwood, peppermint, jojoba, and shea butter. Additionally, it is free from parabens, sulfates, pthalates, and artificial colorants. The rosemary oil does impart a rather strong scent, but it is certainly kind to hair. Quality stuff! Note I only have the conditioner, I wish I could've tried the shampoo to complement it, but this is what I'll be working with! In a cesspool of products that are really not selling you a good deal, or are fishy in some form or another, this product is one of the few actual real ones out there. There certainly are a ton of extra labels telling you stuff is this and that, and those can honestly be interpreted as red flags (if it was food, for example), but in the case of this conditioner, all of those extra labels are telling of the care that the manufacturers have put into making this hair care product. In the end, you keep it in your hair for only a few minutes and wash it out, and in that period, it left me with a natural experience and left my hair feeling great for the next day. This shampoo has been great for my normally itchy scalp, I don’t have dandruff but this has taken care of the itchiness. Sulfate free! I love the natural ingredients in this shampoo and the fact that it's sulfate free. Also happy to support a 24 year old UCLA STEM student. The shampoo doesn't really have any sort of a smell, and to be honest, I was hoping it would smell a bit like rosemary or tea tree, since I love the smell of those, especially together. I don't have an issue with dandruff, so I can't speak to that, but I do have hair loss. Only more time will tell if it helps with that issue, but right now I am enjoying the shampoo. It's hard to say exactly how soft it makes my hair on it's own because I do use conditioner after it, but that's because my hair is so extremely dry. It detangles fairly well and in conjunction with my conditioner, my hair is much softer than it used to be. This bottle of shampoo is about the height of a pint mason jar. To get the pump to work, you need to hold onto the cap and turn the spout around until it comes up out of the bottle. I have short, curly, very fine grey hair and I’m definitely losing hair and have issues with a dry scalp. I washed my hair with this shampoo, fluffed out my wet hair with my fingers instead of combing through it, and let it dry naturally. I used two pumps from the bottle, which seemed to be enough to clean my hair even though the suds were minimal. When my hair was dry, I noticed there was a slight yellowish tint that at first I didn’t like, but then I realized it made my hair look warmer, more golden. Not excessively so, mind you, but enough for me to notice the difference. The shampoo doesn’t have much of a smell, which is great for those wanting to avoid heavy perfumes. The wet-hair “squeaky clean” feeling you get with shampoos that strip your hair of oils was not there, so at first I thought it wasn’t cleaning well. Once dry, though, my hair had more volume than usual and looks and feels clean. My scalp feels better, too. Diane Kistner

This is an herby shampoo that lathers up really well. I can smell tea tree, mint, lemon, rosemary. I don't have dandruff, just very dry skin and scalp. My scalp doesn't feel dry after using this shampoo. Overall, I like this shampoo. What I don't like is that there isn't an ingredient list, just a list of herbs and a story about how the creator of this shampoo came about. This shampoo is also pretty pricey for the quantity. For these 2 reasons, I deducted 1 stars. There is a Nevada address listed but I am not entirely sure if this product is made in the USA. mimers

This has a light, natural scent, which I found pleasant and gender neutral. It cleaned my hair just fine and didn't irritate my scalp. Anne

This shampoo is good when your hair and scalp needs a little extra cleaning. It really seems to remove buildup and gunk. It does so without having a strong menthol scent or feel, so if you aren’t a fan of that type of cooling shampoo this is a good option for you. I don’t have to use a ton of it at a time to feel like I am getting my hair thoroughly clean either! It suds up very well. Rachel

This shampoo doesn't lather up quite as well as normal shampoos, but I don't feel like I need to use any more to clean my hair. It cleans my hair well. My hair and scalp feel good after I use it. It doesn't have any scent that I can detect. I can't comment on the effectiveness of the anti-hair loss properties because I haven't been using it long enough. PDM

I guess maybe it's just me but I don't need to know the creators life story and honestly it seems a little mumbo jumbo-ing and makes me think this is less likely to get rid of dandruff. I don't have a ton of dandruff normally but as a general shampoo this is fine. Kind of an herbal smell. Grace

Today is 10/20/2024 will use this and see how well it does on dandruff when I finish the bottle. Seems like a nice shampoo but will see if it dries my hair. Using it once i can say it lathers but had no cooling effect and yet still felt clean. My hands did feel a bit oily though but not too much but that was weird. I had already washed my hands and face as I usually do so that was weird. I do still wash my face and body again after though so it wasnt a big deal to me. I wonder how it will do for dandruff which is the main reason why anyone would want this. Wutangtattoo

My husband uses (and has for decades) the name brand dandruff shampoo and the few times I've used it on my hair it leaves it very dry and brittle. I got this for him to try and he likes it and so far, we don't see any dandruff returning. I used it once and was delighted that it did not leave my hair feeling dried out and brittle so I think it's more gentle than the popular dandruff shampoo... hopefully it's just as effective. Nice Herbal Shampoo with a woodsy smell I like the way this feels while using it and how my hair feels after shampooing. It smells a little woodsy (cedarwood, tea tree, rosemary) while shampooing. I don't have dandruff to comment on how the shamp[[ effects that. Cleaned my hair effectively but didn't dry it out. Makes me look forward to shampooing again. K. J.

This shampoo lathers up very easily, which I always appreciate. It does a good job at cleaning my hair. The scent is pleasant and doesn't linger too long after using it. Not really sure about the hair loss part, I can't test that in a reasonable amount of time, but heard these ingredients are good for that. Overall happy with it. Charles

This shampoo has many natural herbal ingredients and it smells great in the shower. You don't need to use much and it lathering up nicely and works well with the scalp massage brush. It also rinse off easily too and make your hair feel clean, soft, moisturized, not stripped and much easier to manage. Really enjoying using it so far. This is a great shampoo for your hair care.
